October In Copenhagen
By Sam Parsons
We went to what I’ve been calling “Scotdinavia” last October: Scotland, Denmark, and Norway. This video is about the Denmark (Copenhagen) part. We were there because our daughter, Jessica, had a business conference to go to so we decided to join her there and extend the trip on both ends (w/o Jess). It was cold and at times, rainy, but not too bad — we were prepared. Here’s the video:
We did not rent a car, relying instead on Copenhagen’s excellent public transportation. And for two hours, we rode Segways! From our apartment, we were lucky to view (and film) a music video being made by Danish singer Katinka and her band as they floated along the canal. If you’d like to see it, their resulting music video is here:

My gear was the same as usual. Most video was captured on my trusty Panasonic GH4 but I also used the Olympus TG-860 and iPhone 6 at times. I sampled some sound with the Zoom H1, but also with the RØDE VideoMic Pro mounted on the GH4. Premiere and AfterEffects CS6 handled the editing.
